Designed for the critical listener who demands definition, definition in a musical speaker system, the Dayton
Wright X-6 Loudspeaker System is a three-way unit employing conventional drivers in a carefully balanced
coherent-phase design.  It uses computer designed assymetrical crossovers together with large acoustical
offsets to achieve a phase and frequency seamless crossover between both the Woofer and Mid range, and the Mid range and Tweeter.

A soft-elastomer-horn loaded dome tweeter is employed, coupled with a 12.7 cm. mid-range driver. Both are located in dedicated enclosures. Both are mounted free of the woofer enclosure which houses a 25.4 cm long throw woofer utilising the Dayton Wright Inert Gas Suspension  system and a Polyamide Voice-coil former for very low woofer distortion.

The robust cabinet is designed to place the drivers high from the floor so that the units may be placed behind
other furniture if necessary; and it is finished in selected hardwood veneers.
